HELP!! I have just returned from India and a friend was playing the Lingastakham sung by SP Balasubramaniam – which I love. He said it was on a dvd and actually had about 2.5 hours of songs on it. Can someone tell me what dvd it may have been and where I can buy it? I have an Apple Mac and cannot access any of the links I can find on the web site. Thank you. David

Thanks a lot Meera for the quick response..

I tried searching(online) for Hanuman chalisa lyrics in kannada, but in vain..

I recently got the Baraha software. As I did not want to reinvent the wheel! I thought I will 1st check with you. If its not available I can write using Baraha s/w as n when I find time and post it to your collection of Lyrics..

This blog of yours is awesome!

    Hi Seena Suresh,
If you are using windows, you should be easily able to download the Baraha software and install the same in minutes. Once you have it up and running, converting any lyrics from this blog will be so easy.

Since I don’t know Malayalam, I am unable to do so.

I love this song so much that I hear all day long in the month of karthika maasam… just now I downloaded the mp3 version of this, so that i can upload it to my ipod. May Lord Shiva bless us all! I am adding some urls for the lingashtakam

    Hi Meera,

Thanks for the lyrics of this divine song…….. But if I can point out in this stanza :

    “Suraguru Suravara Poojitha Lingam
    Suravana Pushpa Sadarchitha Lingam
    Paraath Param Paramatmaka Lingam
    Tatpranamaami Sadaashiva Lingam”

it should be ‘Parama’ rather than Paraath

    Good job, keep it up.

    Cheers – Rajesh !!
