Banana, Apple, Strawberry Milkshake

I did Shri Raghavendra Swamy Seva 2 weeks before. While doing so, I eat just one meal at noon, no breakfast or dinner. However, you still need energy to do the seva, work as well as perform all the household work. My parents and my husband strongly insist on me eating fruits and having milk as well. I just can’t drink milk at all. So, when my daughter brought this plate of wonderful fruits for me, I added 2 more to these and prepared something quick, delicious, and very healthy milkshake for all of us. And, now I am sharing this with you all. Banana, Apple, Strawberry milk shake.

So, when you are fasting from now on, do remember to stay healthy and still follow the wonderful tradition we have.

    Hi ,

Thanks you so much for creating such a blog.. It really helps to have a reference now and then…

The receipe of this fruit shake is awesome and it looks and sounds delicious. I should also say that it is going to be a real energy source when we skip our food.

I do have a doubt though.. the other day when I was about to eat just banana and milk on a ekadasi day.. my husband told me that eatin just milk and banana is not allowed in madhwa practices as this is equivalent to meat.. is it true? correct me if I am wrong, love to hear from you on this regard!

    thnks,
    Jayaguru

Hi Jayaguru, I am not an expert so I have no clue. However, I have seen many elderly people who are unable to fast due to health issues eat banana and drink milk.
