the first line of the second sloka that you have given should read vakratunda mahaakaya SOORYA KOTI samaprabha and not the way you have mentioned it…

I think there are many variations for the Vakra Thunda shloka -
1. Soorya Koti/Koti Soorya (both refer to brilliance of one crore Suns)
2. Nirvignam/Avignam (both mean without obstacles or remove obstacles)
3. Sarva Karyeshu/Subha Karyeshu (Sarva = All –> can be chanted in general/always; Subha = Good –> generally chanted in festivals/auspicious occasions).
My Sanskrit knowledge is limited, so pardon me if I am wrong anywhere but I think, as long as we chant them with faith & devotion, and the correct intonation, it shouldn’t really matter.

Hi this is Nirmala I just want to know about the special pooja reguarding studies .My son is studing in 8th standard ICSE syllabus. Ijust want to know if any pooja is performed so that my son can get more concentration on studies. If there is so ,please let me know as soon as posible .
