It says Jeevothama “Sri Vayu” as an incarnation of Sri Rudra in one sloka, which is against our sastra, which will obviously give negative effect!!

I recently started viewing your website and I would like to congratulate for doing such a great job, bringing the madhwa community under one roof by recommending the day to day activities one has to do, Hindu festivals, Daasa Sahitya etc. etc.
I would like to share with you that, myself and my wife are staying in Kampala (Uganda). I am grandson of late Gamaki M Raghavendra Rao who passed away on 30.11.1999 in Bangalore. He was a very famous Gamaki and had done lot of literary & cultural activities in the field of Gamaka Art. He was receipent of Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award, Karnataka Rajyothsava Award and also the prestigious award for Musicians – Kanaka Purandara which carried citation and cash award of Rs.1,000,000/-
We all have been brought up in that culture. My father Late M R Ramakrishna was also one among the famous Gamaki’s, He had given performance in All India Radio as well as Doordarshan. He passed away during August 2006. My mother Kamala Ramakrishna is also a very famous artist in the field of Gamaka, she has given more than 500 performances of Sri Kadri Nrihari’s “Sri Hanumadvilasa”,she is still giving performances of Kaavyavachana for All India Radio & Doordarshan Bangalore & is also the receipent of Karnataka Sangeetha Nritya Academy Award, My Uncle Sri M R Sathyanarayana is also in the same field and has done lot of activities working for AIR as Program Officer, he has produced Daasamrutha CD’s for AIR, He was the main person to introduce Kaavya Samputa (Kaavyavaachana and Vyaakyaana of Kumaaravyasa Bharatha) in Doordarshan. He is also the receipent of Karnataka Rajyothsava Award, Kempegowda Award & Karnataka Sangeeta Nrithya Academy Award.
My grandfather has written translation of Rayara Stotra to Kannada and 48 Keerthanas (giving suitable Raaga) on Sri Raghavendraswamy called “Sri Raghavendra Guru keerthana Maala”which was published first time during 1947 and was reprinted numerous times and as of now again we do not have the stock. Besides that he has written Sri Venkatesha Vijaya – 100 poems in Gamaka Format consisting of Srinivasa Kalyana, Kannada Translation of Sri Sumadwa Vijaya known as “Sri Vaasudeva Vijaya”.
His book called Raghanna Kalipada in Yaalapada Chandas was printed & published by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams. His Holiness the Peetadhipathi of Sri pejawar mutt had blessed him for reprinting of the shorter version of Sri Raghavendra Guru Keerthana Maala.
If you can publish the same on your website, it will be helpful for people to seek blessings from Sri Rayaru.
I will scan the book “Sri Raghavendra Guru Keerthana Maala” and send it across to you once i get confirmation from your side.
I was going through Pahi-Pahi Raghavendra Guro Pdf file and last stanza has been left out. It is as follows:

There are two books in Kannada with me which have the SAME printing mistakes….No wonder people copy and paste from scannned PDFs and the mistakes keep circulating…In fact my wife corrected my pronunciation and thus I realised the mistakes were in those books!!
And No, there is no CORRECT Lyrics with me..UNLESS I write them out myself…

Again, the second time today, I was surprised that you expressed that you were helpless because you dont have “soft copy”..
What’s the big deal???
1. Copy and save HTML and save as .rtf ..opens in Wordpad…You have Baraha direct or IME , don’t you?
2. If the given lyrics are in PDF, any no. of “PDF to Word” converters are there on the net as freeware. You save the PDF as text file and edit… in Unicode of coure!!
I write both the languages this way with ಬರಹ IME…!!
You would know that with your background!!
