Shri Vadiraja Thirtharu is the second highest saint in the Madhwa hierarchy, being next only to Srimad Ananda Tirtha(Shri madhwacharya) himself. Shri Vadiraja Thirtharu composed many devotional songs in Kannada. A few have already been posted on this blog.
Mr. Venkatesh Rao, who is a regular visitor to this blog sent me this wonderful composition of Shri Vadiraja Thirtharu saying how lucky mother Yashoda is to have loved and cared for Lord Krishna.
Attached is the pdf for this song in Kannada.

Yasoda’s punya is a favourite topic among devotees. There is a popular song in Tamil, Ennatavam, in Kapi raga & Adi tala, composed by an earlier generation composer Papanasam Sivan. This song is frequently recited at concerts of Carnatic music.

this song is nice but what is tuning of this song?
Posted by P N Ramachandran on January 2, 2012 at 11:31 pm
In classical carnatic music, ragha and thala have already been given in the comment of 21 March 2011 above. Please request any person knowing carnatic music to sing the song for you. (This is not light music requiring tuning etc.) Hope my meaning is clear. Thanks and best wishes.

Hi everyone, please let me know the lyrics of ‘ಇಂದು ನಾನೇನು ಸುಕ್ರುತವ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು, ಮಂಗಳ ಮಹಿಮಾ ವೆಂಕಟ ಬಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ’. And if possible, let me know the link in which ‘sri vidyabhushan’ has sung this song (in mp3 format)
