Thank you for posting this list.
    curious to know:
    a. what is the diffrence between naga chathurthi and naga panchami
    b. is this naga panchami on july 26 the same as garuda panchami?

Ram, Naga Chaturhti is done just by married ladies. Panchami is done by young and old, men and women. No, I don’t think Naga Panchami and Garuda Panchami are the same.

    Meera,

How can Naga Panchami and Naga Chaturthi be celebrated here in the US? Other than making “beyisida kadubu” to eat, I cant think of anything else.:-)

    Sashi

Sashi, What’s the problem in celebrating the festival in the US? I have Silver Idol of Nagappa, and we do the pooje to the same.
