the timing, nakshatra, rahu kaala, on these calendar may not apply across the globe and are made for the longitude/lattitude of India, correct? As i have heard, at times the thithi and nakshatra differ between the east coast and west coast of USA due to sunrise and the time difference between these two zones. I think it may be good idea to also look at the local panchanga to respective regions to to get the timings to perform pooja sankalpam, etc .
– just my thoughts as I have heard from the local temple in the region i live.

Yes, indeed. If you are staying even in India, there are times mentioned in the panchanga every day. So, you should definitely look at the local panchanga also.
