Dear Meera,
March 19th, Tuesday, Sri Ragavendra Guru’s Birthday, we can call it “Ragavendrar Jayanthi”. I will go to the nearest “Ragavendra Temple:” to worship, in my home also,
I will do pooja and prepare some sweets like Kasari for this function. And I will distribute
Chocolates to the school children who across my house.

This is a wonderful blog,thanks for posting so many things,especially the posts on Lakshmi Devi.I am planning to visit Udipi soon and I would like to purchase a small brass/panchaloha/metal statue of Udipi Sri Krishna or Vitthala,are they available in Udipi?So far I did not find idols like these(in links below) could you kindly guide me to any store or place either in Udupi or Bangalore where I can purchase one.
