During my last visit to India in September-October 2009, my Aunt Ms. Jayu Shamarao presented me a book on “Hari Kathamruta Sara” by Sri Jaganatha Dasaru. This was the best gift I had received in all these years. Thanks so much Jayu Aunty.
As soon as I received this book, I had decided to work on putting this highly revered text online in Kannada and English(Baraha) to help many in the dvaita community.
I have a seperate page called “ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿ ಕಥಾಮೃತ ಸಾರ – Sri Hari Kathamruta Sara” which will be updated as and when I get time. The main page here will also be updated to inform the readers that a new Stanza or Sandhi has been added.
Sri Jagannatha Dasaru in this composition has explained the gradation among the Gods. And with one supreme God; Lord Vishu. The various stanzas explain this concept, first being lord Vishnu, followed by Lakshmi, than Brahma and Vayu, and later comes Garuda, Shesha and so on..
This composition provides a very basic and better understanding of the Gradation of Gods, and is done in very simple explanations.
Yes, you saw it right. This blog has now crossed 700,000 visitors. I am just amazed seeing how this simple blog, in which I wanted to save my recipes and lyrics for my Daughter for later use, became so popular and a huge passion for me.
If I don’t write for a few days, I feel lost. If someone asks for a lyrics, I go out of my way to find the same. If I prepare something special at my home or any place I visit, I immediately look for a camera to click images. If I hear a song, I run to get my Mac to record the same. Sounds crazy right? Yes, this blog has really made me crazy in many ways which I hadn’t imagined at all.
It is also the comments which I receive which pushes me even more to write regularly. There are many many visitors who have provided recipes, lyrics, links and many more useful information, without which this blog wouldn’t have been possible at all. With this blog, I was able to connect to so many Friends who live in many countries from India to Dubai to USA. Everywhere I go, I meet at least a few people who are frequent visitors of my blog.
Thanks is a very small word to say to all those who visit this blog.
