Yes, you saw it right. This blog has now crossed 700,000 visitors. I am just amazed seeing how this simple blog, in which I wanted to save my recipes and lyrics for my Daughter for later use, became so popular and a huge passion for me.
If I don’t write for a few days, I feel lost. If someone asks for a lyrics, I go out of my way to find the same. If I prepare something special at my home or any place I visit, I immediately look for a camera to click images. If I hear a song, I run to get my Mac to record the same. Sounds crazy right? Yes, this blog has really made me crazy in many ways which I hadn’t imagined at all.
It is also the comments which I receive which pushes me even more to write regularly. There are many many visitors who have provided recipes, lyrics, links and many more useful information, without which this blog wouldn’t have been possible at all. With this blog, I was able to connect to so many Friends who live in many countries from India to Dubai to USA. Everywhere I go, I meet at least a few people who are frequent visitors of my blog.
Thanks is a very small word to say to all those who visit this blog.
There are 700,000 visitors, but not 700,000 comments. It shows that there are many silent spectators as well. So, thanks to you as well.

I have come across your blog recently and found it really helpful, esp. for people like me who are born in Madhva brahmana family but lost oneself in the rat-race of this material world. Thank you very much for the effort you put in to maintain this site.
I am a 32-yr old house-wife and I am an ardent fan of Lord Krishna. I just came to know about Sri Rayaru. Can you please help me with some basic information about Sri Rayaru and his teachings?
1. I am living in the UK, so I can’t visit Mantralayam right away. Can I put up a picture of Sri Rayaru in my puja altar and start praying to him without visiting Mantralayam first?
2. I want to accept Sri Rayaru as my Gurudeva. Do I need to have a formal ceremony for this, or can I just mentally approach him and pray him to accept me as a follower?
3. What rules did he instruct to follow if I want to become a suddha bhakta of Lord Krishna? Did he mention any purticular mantra for chanting every day?

1. Yes, you can put up a photo of Rayaru and start praying.
2. No formal ceremony is needed. Anyone who pray’s to Rayaru will be accepted. That’s why he is called “Kalpavriksha Kamadhenu”.
3. You can read about what he has asked us to do in the “Last Speech of Sri Raghavendra Swamy” posted in this blog.
