Sahasra Chandra Darshana – Sri B.G.Subbarao

I had promised all of you that I will post the pictures of the Sahasra Chandra Darshana performed for my Father Sri B.G.Subbarao on October 20th 2013 at Sree Vyasarayara Mutta, Basavanagudi, Bangalore. This function is performed when one is 80 years old. Sahasra is 1000, so it is a way of saying thanks to the Lord for having blessed us to see 1000 Full Moon over the past 80 years. It is a rare function since it is not common for both Husband and wife to be alive.

We enjoyed this function, and my Father was very happy. We are blessed to have done this function the way he wanted. May Lord the Almighty and our beloved Rayaru shower his choicest blessings on our Father.

Enjoy the pictures. We had a professional who took pictures and video. These pictures are from the album we have. Click on the pictures to see a bigger version. I have been sensitive and posted the pictures only of my Father, Mother, Grandmother and the Priest. Didn’t want to post pictures of anyone else online and offend them.
