This very famous stotra composed by Sri Vyasaraja Thirtharu is very popular. It was requested by Ms. Bhargavi. Mr. Laxman provided the same in English. Thanks so much Mr. Laxman.

I spent a around 1/2 hour and with the sheet of paper I had, and the comment from Mr. Laxman was able to convert the stotra in baraha in Kannada. Attached below are the lyrics in Kannada and English in PDF format.

Smt.Meera, I am seeing this news item up today ( 7th April 2014) only. As an accompaniment for this feature I suggest you could have given a writeup reg. the background for this shloka – Sri Vyasarajaru drawing the sketch on a rock only to see that the Pranadevaru leapt out of the stone surface , after several attempts the saint succeded in binding (!) (persuaded) Hanuman to stay put for the benefit of devotees, a noteworthy feature of all Pranadevaru idols ( about 700 plus) consecrated by Sri Vyasarajaru is that a tied bell is visible at the tail’s end etc., Pls. keep up your good work.
Regards. Ravi, presently at Adelaide, South Australia

  9. Hi Ma’am! I am just curious seeing the languages in which this stotra is available. I didn’t know there were Madhwas in Kerala, Gujarat and Bengal!

I know that there is vrindavana of a saint in Kerala. And the connection of Narahari Thirtharu with the Gajapati kings of Orissa. I also know of a school of thought which is of the opinion that Chaitanya mahaprabhu was also inspired by Madhwa philosophy. Do you know any other historical aspects related to this.
