Many of you constantly asked for the Mangala Gowri Vrata – ಮಂಗಳ ಗೌರಿ ವ್ರತ pooja details. Having done this pooja myself almost 18 years back, I really do not remember, nor with all the travel we did across the world have the books with me.
However, seeing all your requests I decided to search on the internet the proper way for you all to do this Vrata – ವ್ರತ.
I found out that www.Sumadhwa.Seva has detailed information on how to perform this Vrata. And before you ask, it is in Kannada and English. So, should help anyone performing this Vrata. There is PDF for both languages. so print it out, perform the vrata and get blessings from Mangala Gowri – ಮಂಗಳ ಗೌರಿ.

hello, on October 31st atla thadhi gowri puja morning I did gowri puja evening I need put dosas to gowri devi I started fasting from morning onwards unluckily I got periods in evening before puja , this is good or bad , vrat not completed kindly tell me.

Hi Akka,i am doing my 5th year pujafirst mangala vara is done successfully,this time luckily no atanka,this year we got on 9th,16th,23rd and 30th.30th we cannot do udhyapana as sradha is happening and that day pooja I will try to complete on vinayaka chaturthi,23rd my mother cannot come,she can come on 16th,so can I do udhyapana on 16th and continue puja on 23 Rd and vinayaka chaturthii.please let me know.

hello once again… sorry for asking you multiple questions….tomorrow is ekadashi and also mangal gowri festival…tomorrow do i need to put gejje vastra to god? and if so neelanjana arathi is done on ekadashi or dwadashi….if not what should we do with the water we soaked gejje vastra ? can we keep it for next day neelanjana arathi ?

Gejje vastra yes. Arathi on Ekadashi shouldn’t be a problem. No, cannot use previous days water.
