A Miracle On Thursday

As you all know, we performed Shree Raghavendra Satsangha this Sunday. During the Satsangha we all shared miracles performed by our Beloved Rayaru. One such miracle was shared by Mrs. Vandana. Not sure if you all remember, my first ever Satsangha was at Mrs. Vandana’s place. She is an ardent and one of the greatest devotees I have seen in my life.

Mrs. Vandana shared a miracle during the Satsangha at my place. I cannot share much about the miracle at this point, since I have asked the concerned person’s Aunt to get permission so I can share with you all.

However, Mrs Vandana talked about the same, and the book she had was part of the miracle. All of us expressed interest in reading this book, but had no chance to get a hold of the same since Vandana had no copies available. I emailed the Aunt as well and she said she will get the permission.

Also, during the Satsangha Ms. Radhika again an ardent devotee mentioned that since we are doing this Satsangha every month she was hoping we could keep up with the miracles, and I said Oh yes, we will have many many miracles to share and our beloved Rayaru will be performing the same. Today being Thursday, I was thinking about what I told Ms. Radhika  and wondered what might be the next miracle in my life. I come home from a long drive after work a little tired, disappointed and a tidy bit sad. As soon as I entered home, my Husband says ” Meera, your Satsangha friend has sent you Rayaru book.” I was like what book, opened it and just couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the same book Mrs. Vandana had shared the miracle about.

I thanked Mrs. Vandana profusely, and the humble devotee she is says ” Rayaru decides whose house he should visit, and Rayaru intends this and not me”. I told her ” I have so much to learn from you”.

Just shows how our Beloved Rayaru brings us all together. The bond I have with you all and now with the Satsangha devotees is matched by our beloved Rayaru.

I am humbled, blessed and so fortunate. Wanted to share this with you all.

Shree Raghavendra Satsangha Pictures– June Sunday 19th @ Maryland

As promised, I am updating all of you on the Satsangha we had yesterday, Sunday June 19th. It was just an amazing experience to host the same at my place. We recited all stotras as mentioned in the website by Shri Rajaraman. I also had kept the books provided to me by Shri Canchi Ravi and gave them to three wonderful women to read about the miracles of our Beloved Rayaru.

We started promptly at 6.00 PM. We started with Shree Vishnu Sahasranama and later covered all the songs mentioned on the Satsangha web site. Everyone had brought flowers and fruits as you can see in the pictures below. The entire home filled with chanting of Shree Raghavendra, and that was such a humbling experience. And listening to the miracles from at least a few people was a chilling experience.

Yesterday as I was driving to work and listening to the song Guruve Varahaja Thatavasa and once this song finished another amazing song on Lord Narashima started playing. I thought this was really a blessing from Lord Narashima himself.

I couldn’t wait to come back home and search for the song and the lyrics itself. It is quite a popular song and I was amazed how we missed it here in the blog. I am currently posting the PDF link available online in Kananda and two links for the song it self. As time permits I will post the lyrics in English as well. If anyone of you have the time and inclination to help the several thousands devotees  who request lyrics in English, please take the time wot note down the lyrics and post it here.

Shree Raghavendra Satsangha – June Sunday 19th @ Maryland

It is quite well known to everyone who knows me and follows my blog that I am a devotee of our Beloved Rayaru. You also know that I had posted 3 reviews of the book “SRI RAGHAVENDRA – THE SAINT OF MANTRALAYA” given to my by Sri Canchi Ravi Sir.

While I was reading the 3rd volume was when I received a text from Sri Rajaraman Nagarajan asking me to join his whatsapp group of interested Raghavendra Swamy devotees. At first I hesitated to join and when he said it was Raghavendra Swamy prerane and that’s why he was asking me to join I said yes and gave him my phone number.

The next few days he mentioned he was coming to Maryland to Smt Vandana’s house for Satsangha and asked us to join. I agreed and My Husband and I went to Smt. Vandana’s house in the evening at Gaithesburg. There were 4 more families who had come and none of us knew each other. In spite of not knowing anyone, the Satsangha went so nicely, we were all sharing Rayaru miracles almost until 11.00 PM in the night. Sri Rajaraman Nagarajan called me and Smt Vani who was also there and said based on his prerane from Rayaru that we wanted me and Smt Vani to carry the torch of conducting these Satsangha in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area. We said yes and returned home. After a few weeks Sri Rajaraman Nagarajan again asked us what was our plan and that’s when Smt Vani and I decided to have the Satsangha at my place on June 19th. Sri Rajaraman Nagarajan is one of the greatest devotees of our Beloved Rayaru I have seen. He is very active in NJ, and also owns the http://www.gururaghavendra1.org/ website. If you listen to his miracles you will be just amazed to know the blessings of our Rayaru.

Same goes to all of the couple who attended the Satsangha in Smt Vanadana’s house. Once I returned from the Satsangha, I kept wondering if I was anymore a devotee of Rayaru, he has blessed so many people no matter what their caste color or creed or social status. Just unbelievable.

This post is to invite all of you who live in the Maryland, DC and Virigina area to come join us on June 19th Sunday evening at 5.30 PM for the Satsangha. Like I said it doesn’t matter whether you know anyone or not, you all know our Beloved Rayaru and have and have great devotion towards him. That’s all required for the Satsangha. We will have light dinner after the Satsangha. We will perform the Satsangha as laid out by Sri Rajaraman Nagarajan in his web site. We will share miracles which happened in our lives, we will sing songs together and last but not the least say at the end ” Thoogire Rayara Thoogire Gurugala”.

Please com join us and let your friends and family know if they are devotees of our Beloved Rayaru as well. And yes, it is fathers day and our Beloved Rayaru is our Father like we say ” Thande Ninnu Raghavendra Thayi Ninnu Raghavendra”. what a day to show our devotion to our beloved Rayaru.

Shree Satyanarayana Pooje – May 30th 2016

On Monday, May 30th 2016 we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and on this wonderful occasion, we performed Shree Satyanarayana Pooja. We invited our family and friends, and our Daughter flew from North Carolina to celebrate this great day with us.

We are all going to visit India in July, and I will personally send many of you invites to join a grand pooje and party in Bangalore as well.

I will post how I prepared for the pooje and food items soon. Below are some pictures my daughter took. The pictures are in a slide show, you can click on them, the end pictures are from evening pooje.
