Mantralaya Visit – April 2017

It was November 19th 2014 the last I had visited Mantralaya. I traveled to India for work end of March and April, and this time made it a point to go visit Mantralaya with my Parents during the weekend. I came back day before April 11th to USA. The temple as you can see has completely changed.

My parents and I got many sevas done to Rayaru, were able to see the Rathotsava, have lunch the next day. I was also able to do 108 namaskaras, and also had a visitor from the blog who recognized me and talked to me. I was unable to talk much since I was reciting the stotra, I feel really sorry for that.

Attached below are some pictures. It was just so awesome seeing our Beloved Rayaru, no amount of daily picture, or any other temple can provide the joy and satisfaction that standing in front of Rayaru in Mantralaya can bring. Immense joy and tears keep rolling as you see the brindavana standing tall and majestic in front of you.

Requesting you to visit Granthalya also in Tiruvallur near Chennai. It is also called prathiroopa Mantralaya. It has a huge brindavna for Rayaru similar to Mantralya, a bigger than life size idol of Rayaru, mirithige given by Rayaru to one of his deciples (no other brindahavanas has this mirthige) and a few more firsts of its kind. Granthalaya has come up on account of the efforts of Sri..Amman Sathiyanathan and his valued readers, Rayar’s devotees and many more.

Definitely. I haven’t been to India on vacation from the past 4 years, time to take some break and visit all places our Rayaru walked through.

Me and my family blessed to see the changes in the temple and your experience at Mantralaya. I could not visit Rayaru since 4 years. Work and family issues in Canada.

  4. Good pictures. I agree with Sri Vasu Murari. You have to visit Granthalaya at Thiruvallur. Amman Sathianathan you already know since you are having 9 volumes of his english version on Rayaru. Now 10th volume translation going on. I visited Granthalaya just a month back. Mind boggling.effort. Amman himself took us with him. Still lot of works to be done. He has sunk his entire earnings from book publishing and with lot of help from devotees, one phase of his dream project he has completed. While visiting this Granthalaya which is in Neyveli village of the district, you can also visit famous Veera Raghava temple of Thiruvallur.
