What can I say? The much awaited festival is over and after the Ganesha festival I sat in front of the Lord and stared at him for almost an hour. I just couldn’t believe the festival was over. It was the most hectic week. I just can’t believe how much energy, mental strength and patience it takes to perform these festivals as per traditions during the week. It was tough, but at the end well worth every minute we spent. This year my daughter was able to join us, so it was extra special.
Most flowers, banana leaf, Tulasi, grass-garike, patre leaves were from our garden. Mango leaves and Betel Leaves from my Sister’s garden.
As always, sharing some pictures for you all. Hope you all had a wonderful Ganesha Festival.
I planned on making simple food, but like I said since my daughter was there, it was complete in itself. Except modaka, which I couldn’t make.

Namaskara, I went through your Ganesha puji. It is great. I am surprised to see all puji items are available in US. I was under the impression that you cannot even light a Neelanjana at home due to pollution reasons. Excellent. Namaskara Madhu M Rao Bangalore

Nope, that’s all lies. I have been here for nearly two decades and have been doing pooje from day 1 in my apartment and my home.

Vow, we feel like to have all items. You have done it yourself or your daughter had helped you. Ganesha would bless you and would eat all items you offered him. Awesome picture of Ganesha and offering items also so beautifully arranged.

Beautiful pics of Janmashtami and Ganesha Hebba! I truly appreciate your enthusiasm in celebrating the festivals. Wonder how you make time for making so many items of food. Incredible!

Like I said, Champa, lots of help from Husband and Daughter. Not possible to do anything without their support. But, I am feeling a lot tired now with the back pain, but worth every pain when I look back and feel extremely satisfied that I passed the exam.

Hope, you feel better soon!
