Daily Saligrama Pooja Procedure in English

I had posted the Daily Saligrama Pooja procedure in Kannada, and many of you asked for the same in English. I received an email from Mr. Ragothaman Yennamalli who sent me the link for the same in Kannada. It has the exact same details and is amazing. Thanks again to Mr. Ragothaman Yennamalli who sent me the link and also the webmaster of that website who has detailed all the procedure.

  2. This could be helpful certainly as a minimum attempt of Salagrama Pooja. I understand that for the sake of brevity certain other needs of even Sankshipthapaddathi are missing and I don’t have any issue on this. Let those who want to get initiatedmake start with this But one concern of mine -with my limited understanding – is that there are differences of sequencing as given the link Briefly these are Nirmalya has to precede every other step including kalasa and Shanka Pooja Secondly the abhisheka theertha is not divided and poured in two vessels as described Apart from abhisheka theertha a small step Shanka Brahmanam is necessary after Mangala harathi and Namaskara One has to take water in Shanka and chant a mantra and to do aarathi to the salagrama which is then used as a theertha for prokshana ; the abhisheka theertha is consumed thrice normally and once on Ekadasi Also Rama naivedya is performed only after closing the Samputa containing Salagrama and Sarva samarpana is then offered These steps have a logic It is possible that different practices exist My point is not to find fault but to request you to check this normally accepted procedure in the link with anyone else whom yo are comfortable with. Even while doing a brief Pooja we should not commit errors particularly the sequencing unknowingly Hope you appreciate
