From Mantralaya – Sree Raghavendra Swamy Poorva Aaradhane Pictures
From my home. It was quite emotional doing Rayaru Seva this year. As you all know Mom was one of the greatest devotee of Rayaru. When I was upset on Rayaru when she was in hospital, she kept telling me “Rayaru Mahanubhavaru, Yake Avara mele kopa Meera”. She came in my dream also and asked me not to be upset on Rayaru and it was time for her to go.
Anyone of us was sick, had trouble, or anything not working according to plan, you could count on Mom to do Rayaru Seva. And she diligently visited 4TH T block Mutta and offered her thanks. Almost every month she used to perform Kanakabhisheka for Rayaru at the mutta. Rain or shine she had to go see Rayaru every Thursday.
Every year, as soon as I performed day 1 Seva, I used to do a video chat and show her my Pooja room. She used to be so happy and always asked me to not overdo, and not restrict food too much. While doing Seva I eat just 1 meal, no coffee, no tea, no fruits, just lunch at noon and nothing else.
This year, all those memories came back as soon as I finished day 1 Pooja. My dad was with me and he did Saligrama Pooje, and Panchamrutha Abhisheka for God and Rayaru. Tulasi and Kanakambara from our own garden. I tied the garland with both Tulasi and Kanakambara.
As my extended family I thought of sharing with you all my thoughts today. I need your blessings and positive thoughts to get strength to bear the loss.
Lets all pray together to Rayaru to cure COVID from this world.
Guru Sarvabhowma Ki Jai.

Hello Meeraji,
First my heartfelt thanks to you for providing us with such good information and resources.
When I read about your mom and her Rayaru seva, it reminded me of my own mother.
Incidentally I also lost my mom recently in 2018. It is an irreparable loss but I am sure Shree Hari knows what is best and I am trying to accept it .
My parents didn’t have children for about 6 years though didn’t have any health complications and on my grandma’s advise who herself is an ardent devotee of Gurugalu/ Rama devaru , my mom did Rayaru seva in her mom’s place in Seetharama temple which has the brindavana.
She would wake up early in the morning take head bath not eat or drink anything and do Pradakshana namaskarams. After that eat one meal and that’s about it for the day and sleep on the floor/ chape.
I think she did it for 21 days or so and had a dream and within a month her pregnancy was confirmed. That’s me.
She used to say that it was a miracle as that was the only time she conceived and no other mishaps before or later and no other pregnancy .
Someone in my family rightly named me Sudha .
My mom and grand mom would always tell us to do seva for Rayaru and or Tulasi seva which is done in the same way in utter silence .
They have always saved me / us.
My dad also has experienced Rayaru anugraha and HE came to their house in the form of a medicine man and gave a bottle of oil to apply which healed his leg when he was a teenager.
Ragavendra Swamy’s miracles are countless .may HE bestow health and peace
on this universe and mankind .
OM Shree Ragavendraya Namaha.

Hello, Sudha. Your message brought tears. It is very very hard to come to terms that Amma is not there. Yes we have to accept the reality. But it takes time. Thanks so much for your message again. Your parents and grandma are great devotees. Amazing to see the devotion.
