In our relatives whatsapp group, my cousin Prathima shared an amazing ughabhoga written by Shree Vyasa Rajaru and sung by Mysore Ramachandrachar. His voice and the song it self is mesmerizing. I got the lyrics and some details about the Ugha Bhoga from my brother Ramesh.
Thanks Prathima, Ramesh for sharing this great information.
Shree Vyasa theertharu composed this song at the Shree Sripadarajs matha in mulabagal.
He was so immersed in singing that Krishna himself came in front of him and started dancing. A stunned Shree Sripadaraja could not believe his eyes and he handed over the idol of sri Krishna to Shree Vyasa theertha. This idol can still be seen at the Vyasaraja matha. Shree Vyasa theertha always carried this idol with him, everywhere he went.
This was the first song of Shree Vyasa theertha where he addresses Krishna as Sri Krishna. In earlier compositions, he had addressed the lord as just Krishna. Krishna came in his dreams and complained that Shree Vyasa theertha was insulting him by calling him in singular. I have a wife and children. You have none. How can you address a householder in singular, Krishna asked Shree Vyasa Theertha. Shree Vyasa theertha apologized to Sri Krishna and from them on addressed the Lord as Sri.
I translated the lyrics into English using Google Translate.

An amazing song on Lord Ganesha from my book. I haven’t seen the lyrics for this anywhere on the internet. Composed by Shree Parthasarathy Vittala Dasaru. Not heard many songs from him to be honest. Also, no raga or tala mentioned in my book. So, I created my own tune.

We have an opportunity to see a spiritually uplifting movie infused with Dharmic values, beautiful music and portraying the life history of one of the important Haridasas in the bhakti lineage of Karnataka. This is a small budget independent movie made against the tough atmosphere for movies with these kinds of values. People who have seen the movie have been emotionally touched by the story of ego related consequences and subsequent redemption with devotion and surrender of Sri Jagannatha dasaru.

Sri Jagannatha dasaru movie show -v2
Sri Jagannatha daasaru plays a very important role in Haridasa Lineage. His life conveys an important message. He was an esteemed Sanskrit scholar who had to undergo difficulties for insulting satvic people like Sri Vijaya dasaru. The main message from his life is that a man should let go of egoistic thoughts and behavior and surrender to the Divine. Please see this journey from egoistic behavior to devotion and ultimate realization in this dramatic movie.
I had heard this song when Padma Bushan Balamuralikrishna Avaru had visited Washington, DC. I kept humming this song, and only now in my book found the lyrics. What an amazing composition by Shree Purandara Dasaru.
The lyrics is again about the Three Avataras of Shree MadhwaCharyaru. Hanuma, Bheema and Madhwa.
