Back from India

We returned this Saturday morning from India. It was a memorable trip with a million memories made for a lifetime. I can’t imagine how one month flew by.

The first week we attended our Mysore Ajji’s annual yearly ceremony. It was satisfying to be part the ceremony for everything Ajji has done. It was held in VidyaPeetha Bangalore, so was able to see Lord Krishna, Vadirajaru and Rayaru there.

Second week, we visited most our relatives houses and also according to my Father’s wish Kamadhenu Kshetra and Honnava Rayaru Mutta. I had posted a blog about the same. On Ekadashi, we visited Chickpete Rayara mutta. The first mutta in Bangalore almost 200+ years old. May 13th Dwadashi, we visted Malleshwaram Rayara mutta and also had Vasanthotasava Phalahara which I always wished I had. On Narashima Jayanthi, Mantralya Swamigalu visited NR Colony Mutta, and we were able to get Mudra Dharana by Swamigalu.

Third week, Monday – Thursday night we visited Dharmasthala, Southadka, Udupi, Pajaka Kshetra, Murudeshwara, Gokarna, a few temples in Sirsi, Sondha, Hairhara and the last stop was Seebi Narasimha. It was just my Father, Husband and myself. In Udupi, my Father and Husband both did Prathyaksha Go Dana, Gograsa Seva, Chamara Seva and Thotilu Seva.

Fourth week, we visited Mantralaya. On the way, we also visited Ananthpur Rayara mutta, had theertha prasada before we drove to Mantralaya. We also visited Bichhale. This time it was my Sister and her Husband who also accompanied us. We once again visited Kamadhenu Kshetra and Honnava Rayaru Mutta so my Sister could see. She had never been to any of these places.

In between, we visited NR Colony Rayaru mutta almost everyday we were in Bangalore. Visited several temples in Malleshwaram – Lord Narashima Temple, Durga temple, Ganesha temple . Ambha Bhavani temple in NR Colony.

I will try and compile pictures and videos of my visit and post them. The pooje and seeing Swamigalu in Udupi and the sevas we performed transformed us three to a different state of mind. It was mind blowing, exhilarating and just out of this world. Lord Krishna all three days we stayed was decorated with Diamond Kavacha. The Chande vadya in udupi temple was mesmerizing.

All three of us feel blessed to be able to visit all the places especially taking my 88 year old father safely to all these places. It truly was a dream come true.

We are now back in USA, and work has started.

Blog Hits a New Record -1.7 Crore 17 Million Views

Last year 12th September 2021, I had posted about 1.6 crores 16 million views.  As I was spending sometime today, I saw the statistics and was blown away.

The first person I would tell was my Mother. I know she is somewhere up there and watching over me and blessing me as always.

I lost track especially being very busy with work in USA and now spending some time here in India. I have been blessed to attend my Ajji’s annual ceremony, visit several temples here in Bangalore, especially the Rayaru mutta at Chickpete which is almost 290 years old. I took some pictures and video with permission from the temple authorities, I will post it soon.

Today being Narashima Jayanthi, we visited NR Colony mutta. Mantralaya Swamigalu had come and we got Mudra Dharane from Swamigalu. Will post video soon.

Planning on visiting Udupi, Sonde and other nearby places. Also visiting Mantralaya. I will share all details and hope to take several pictures and videos.

I am truly thankful to all of you for all your support and hope to continue spreading my knowledge and do whatever little I can do to promote Hinduism.

BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. THIS BLOG WOULDN’T HAVE REACHED WHERE IT IS WITHOUT ALL OF YOU.

And it goes without saying, my sincere namaskaras to Lord Almighty and our beloved beloved RAYARU.

MAY THIS BLOG CONTINUE ITS JOURNEY TOWARDS REACHING many many more people.

Shri Kshetra Honnava Mantralaya Mandira

Yesterday, after our visit to Kamadhenu Kshetra, we visited the Honnava Mantralaya Mandira. Amazing experience we had and were greeted very warmly by Shree Narasimhachar Joshi and his wife the founders of the mutt. I will share more details, but for now see the amazing video I took for a couple minutes.

We had booked taxi to visit Kamadhenu Kshetra. My Dad turned on TV at night since the clock in his room wasn’t working to see what time it was. They were showing the video of this temple. Early morning, my Father asked can we also visit this place, I said of course let’s go. We drove down from Kamadhenu Kshetra, stopped at an intersection to ask for directions, and the person said just take a left, go down until the village ends, and on the left side you will see the mutta. A rare mutta which has Lord Sreenivasa, Lord Narashima, Lord Panchamukhi Pranadevaru, and our beloved Rayaru. I was told there is no place in the world which has this combination. A must visit for anyone who believes in Rayaru.

It is literally 8-10 minutes from Kamadhenu Kshetra.

BHAKUTAJANA PAALAKA BHAKTI SUKHA DAAYAKA – Audio Video

I am here in India from the past one week. Last week, Wednesday and Thursday my family including my daughter attended Ajji’s annual one year ceremony. I recovered some of the old songs I had recorded Ajji sing in 2014, 8 years back when Ajji was over 100 years old.

The memory she had reciting the song on Lord Krishna and the tune and her voice was tremendous. Ajji used to be very happy anytime I told her I had posted about her in the blog. She loved to know what everyone had commented.

Akshaya Thritiya ಅಕ್ಷಯ ತೃತಿಯಾ – May 3rd 2022

Please check with your local calendar to find out about the same.

Akshaya Tritiya ಅಕ್ಷಯ  ತೃತಿಯಾ is the most important day in the hindu calendar.  Akshaya means growth and tritiya is the third day of the month in Vaishaka Masa. They say that in order to perform any major function like marriage, gruhapravesha you don’t even have to check your horoscope for finding a good Muhurtham. Any ritual or religious function performed on this day leads to growth.

The Uttaradi matta panchanga also mentions it is very important to apply gandha ಗಂಧ to the Lord. So, if you have access to the same, please do that as well. The significance and stotra as per the panchanga.

Translation in English:

One who does, on this day Snana, Japa, Homa, Pitru tarpana, dana etc etc it will give infinite fruits. Will get rid of all papa we have done. On this day, apply Ghandha to Lord.

The stotra to be recited:

ಯಃ ಪಶ್ಯತಿ ತೃತಿಯಾಯಾಂ ಕೃಷ್ಣ0 ಚಂಧನಭೂಷಿತಮ್ |

ವೈಶಾಖಸ್ಯ ಸಿತೇ ಪಕ್ಷೇ ಸ ಯಾತ್ಯಚುತ್ಯಮಂದಿರಮ್ ||

yah pashyathi truthiyayam krishnam chandhanabhooshitaM |

vaishakhasya Sitē pakshe sa yathyachuthyamandiraM ||

On this day, many ladies give thambula including blouse piece, and other items. Any thing you give or donate they say becomes akshaya. Meaning infinite or one that never diminishes.

So, if you have decided to do anything new this year, this is the right day to get started.
