Theertha Yaathra – A Pilgrimage (Part-1)

During my visit to India in May, as we were planning our visit to several Teertha Kshetras, my Father was telling me the meaning of Teertha. Having a father so learned in our Madhwa Philosophy and one who doesn’t ever judge anyone whether they know everything or nothing at all is very rare. I would say unheard of.

In my experience, even when someone has learnt even an ounce of our religion, they start judging everyone else and behave in a very condescending way. I can narrate hundreds of such incidents which have happened to me.

Anyway, I have two twitter accounts, one for my work where my company shares many of the articles I write, conferences I speak at and tag me. I couldn’t use this for my personal use. I needed one for my blog, so I created a personal one for my blog where I follow several accounts. One such account I follow is @bhargavasarma.

I was planning to write everything my dad had shared with me on Theertha when coincidentally, I saw a tweet from @bhargavasarma.

To quote from their tweet ”

“New #eBook release, With Sri GuruRayara prerana/anugraha, my poorva janma sukruta, a sincere attempt (as per my yogyata) to bring out #15th#eBook (PDF) titled…

THEERTHA YAATHRA – A PILGRIMAGE (Part-1) for the benefit of devout/novice society”

It is an amazing book, and the first 11 pages gives you an insight into what Theertha means.
