Sri Madhwa Navami at SKV, NC

Yesterday, we witnessed one of the best-ever celebrations in our life on the eve of Madhwa Navami at Shri Krishna Vrindavana, Cary, North Carolina. It felt like we were part of a community we knew for decades even though it is exactly 6 months since we moved here temporarily.

Please find attached one of the videos – Part 1, from the celebrations yesterday. I will break down the videos into smaller chunks and post.

And before I post the video, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers of this temple.

Poojya Sri Swamigale,

It fills my heart with joy unspeakable to write in response to the warm and cordial welcome that this Krishna Vrindavana community has given us over the past six months. I thank you in the name of Hari, Vayu and Gurugalu, and I thank you in the name of hundreds of people who visit this amazing temple. Words cannot describe the amount of gratitude we have for you.

Chief Priest Udupa Acharyare.

Thank you for being such a great example. You’re a blessing to our community. A temple as we all know is not just a mere place of worship, but a sacred home where God resides. And with your pooje and rituals that you regularly perform, including on special occasions ( poojas, homas), from the morning worship to the evening pooje when you sing the lali songs, it brings divinity and bhakti towards God. The dedication and devotion you have is unmatched, whether there is 1 person sitting here in the temple, or we have 100s of people watching you do pooje. Your service has energized all devotees to participate fully in all functions, and invest their time in serving the temple as well.

Albert Einstein said “Everything in life is Vibration”.  The sound vibrations from Acharyara chanthing brings a state of calmness to the mind. It helps ease our daily stress, and take us to a higher level of consciousness.

Acharyare, You have real concern for the devotees and treat us all with sympathy and understanding. And you truly are an intermediary between God and us the worshippers who come to this temple.

Like they say “archakastu hari sakshat chara rupi na samsayah” is very true about you acharyare.

Head Cook Gundu Rao Avare

Hinduism places such great emphasis on the role of food that it has been called “the kitchen religion.” I read this somewhere. No religious function is complete without the distribution of food, especially prasada and how can we forget the delicious food prepared by Gundu Rao avaru.

There is widespread belief that the consciousness of the cook enters the food and influences the mind of the eater. This maybe one of the reasons why we are so attached to this temple, because the prasadathat has been cooked by you and offered with devotion by Acharyaru to God, inclines the mind towards spirituality.

Prabha Avare,

I have no idea when this temple became a home for us. It is all because of your hospitality and caring nature. And your two boys are like our Muddu Krishna for us. Thanks for every warm welcome “Namaskara, hegidhira” you say with so much affection”.

Volunteers.

Last but not the least, and in no order, I would also like to thank all the volunteers who tirelessly work here in this temple. I don’t want to name anyone, because I know I will miss a few names. Each and everyone of you have made this temple an amazing place of worship and a community like no other I have ever witnessed. Thanks All.

Poojya Swamigale,

Thanks once again for building such an amazing temple and an amazing community here in Cary, North Carolina. We are truly blessed to be part of this temple and be among amazing Krishna bhakataru.
