The eclipse time is called as ‘ Punya Kal’ ( most sacred time). Recommended fasting to observe 9 hours before the eclipse begins and until the Sun Rise on Tuesday, when the observation of the eclipse ends locally. Eclipse time is considered as elevated time for meditation and prayers, yielding best results.
