Highlights from SrimadBhAgavata Saptaha led by Vid. Kallapura Pavamanachar | Apr 14-20 2024 | Share your personal experience and moments that mattered?

Jai Shree Ram | Sri Gurubhyo namaha 🙏🏻

How many of you joined us last week to celebrate Krodhi Nama Samvatsara, Chaitra NavarAtri and Rama Navami with BhAgavata Saptaha by Vid. Sri. Kallapura Pavamanachar| Apr 14-20 2024 8:00 pm Eastern/ 5:30 am India time (+1)?

The ‘Highlights’ video embedded below does a decent job of capturing few fond memories from the saptAha around sankalpa, select personal experiences, achar’s signature dasarapada, and samarpaNe. But I know this isn’t the complete list and there might and will be more personal experiences ( transformative, thought provoking, divine, blissful, musical, positive, fun..) that you all might have felt.

Meera and I would encourage you to share with this community so we all can collectively learn and appreciate the ultimate.

Key questions for you all to respond or comment on this:

1. Moment that mattered and why?

2. One liner about your overall experience of saptaha and why was it special?

3. Key takeaway that would carry to your daily lives

I am happy to get us started-

1. Moment that mattered: with minimal marketing and promotions, I was thrilled to see 80+ haribhaktas show up and stay up till the end daily despite other priorities and festivities ( and all other means of distractions). It was indeed heartening to witness the participation and engagement..

2. One liner of experience: Sri hayavadanana paramAnugraha beku to be part of such Jnana karya.

3. Key Takeaway: support, participate, and immerse yourself and every around you in such Jnana karya(s) in any and all ways possible. The feeling you experience and rejoice is beyond words and expressions. I can’t even imagine how Nārada munigaLu would have felt when he got a slight glimpse of bhagvanta, can’t even think of the feeling dhruva maharAja had when VAsudeva Roopi paramAtma made his dhyana roopa disappear and touched his cheeks through the divine shanka (couch). It is beyond comprehension when prahaladarAjaru witnessed and experienced his belief becoming reality. And all our stalwarts experiencing HIM and his divine creation as part of sAkshAtkAra. All these moments are much beyond and more transformative in nature than what we are talking about. That said, we need to start somewhere and such discourses help us challenge our priorities and enable us with more clarity on our end goals and end game.

@meeraghu : would you like to pick the baton and help us take this experience challenge further?

Thanks, Divyashree. Here is my take on the saptaha –

Key questions for you all to respond or comment on this:

    1. Moment that mattered and why? The story of Sudhama and Krishna deeply resonated with me. It exemplifies the power of devotion. When we cultivate true love for the divine, our needs are fulfilled in unexpected and abundant ways.

    2. One liner about your overall experience of saptaha and why was it special? Achar’s words were so powerful! I felt a wave of emotion wash over me while listening, and I even got goosebumps.

    3. Key takeaway that would carry to your daily lives. Achar’s commentary on the Srimad Bhagavatha Purana  was truly insightful. It prompted a deep period of reflection for me, and I believe it has the power to do the same for others.  Even with busy schedules (and who among us isn’t these days, Divyashree?), I highly recommend taking the time to listen to the video recordings. The Srimad Bhagavatha Purana offers timeless wisdom that can truly transform one’s perspective on life.
